The addition of an eight-hundred sq ft space was an excellent opportunity to upgrade the exterior of the home as well. Materials for the exterior were selected based on a maintenance-free request. Pre-finished windows and asphalt shingles as well as wood siding help in reducing any exterior upkeep for the family.the same considerations were with the interior renovations; durable oak hardwood flooring was chosen forthe new eating area and matching cherry hardwood and granite countertops in the kitchen were selected for attractiveness as well as resilience. The new addition is adjacent to the existing dining room and in frontof the family room. All the added space allows for ample accommodation for entertaining or holiday events. The second storey addition was designed to become a new Master suite that includes an ensuite with heated floor and steam shower, a large walk-in closet and a private office area.
